EIV Diagnostics

Molecular Pathology

Advanced molecular diagnostic testing using techniques including PCR, FISH, and next-generation sequencing for cancer diagnostics, inherited disease testing, and infectious disease detection.

Molecular pathology at EIV Diagnostics harnesses advanced nucleic acid-based technologies to detect genetic alterations, infectious agents, and predictive biomarkers that inform diagnosis and treatment decisions. Our molecular laboratory performs PCR-based assays, next-generation sequencing (NGS), FISH, and in situ hybridization on both fresh tissue and FFPE specimens.

Oncology applications include somatic mutation profiling for targeted therapy selection, microsatellite instability (MSI) and mismatch repair (MMR) testing for immunotherapy eligibility, and clonality studies for lymphoma and leukemia workup. Infectious disease panels cover respiratory pathogens, sexually transmitted infections, and gastrointestinal organisms with high sensitivity and specificity.

Results are reported with clinical context and therapeutic implications clearly articulated, enabling oncologists, infectious disease specialists, and other providers to act quickly and confidently.
