We are committed to providing our clients and patients with the most advanced laboratory technologies, shortening the turn-around time for diagnosis. We also strive to produce the highest quality slides for diagnosis and an easy way to track specimens and access reports.
Other than traditional dermatopathology, we are the first lab in the nation to offer novel in vivo and ex vivo diagnostic services, such as reflectance confocal microscopy. We continue to research new diagnostic tools, as they become clinically applicable.

Dr. Rao
Dr. Babar Rao is a board certified physician in both dermatology and dermatopathology and is a leading authority in non-invasive diagnostics, specifically reflectance confocal microscopy. Dr. Rao completed his dermatology residency at Weill Cornell Medical School and has previously trained at the University of London, UT Southwestern, New York University, and Rutgers University. He is currently Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Rutgers University and Associate Clinical Professor at Weill Cornell Medical School.
